Contact Information
Go to a meeting:
If you are wondering if Al-Anon or Alateen is for you, the most effective method of contacting us is to go to an Al-Anon or Alateen meeting. You can check out the meeting section of this website for locations and times that are convenient for you. You are welcome to show up without notice; in fact, that is how it works. There is no registration, time restrictions, or other obligations. New people attend Al-Anon and Alateen meetings on a regular basis. If the chairperson does not ask if there are any newcomers, please let them know so the group will have an opportunity to welcome you to your first meeting.
Phone us:
Some cities and towns have an Al-Anon phone number listed in the phone directory. Check your White Pages, or Yellow Pages, directory to see if there is a listing in your area. Formats vary, but in general, you will either be able to talk to an Al-Anon member directly or leave a message and have an Al-Anon member call you back to answer your questions.

Information for Professionals
If you are a professional (physician, justice system employee, social agency employee, etc.), or institution (i.e. addiction treatment centre, hospital) looking for information about Al-Anon or Alateen for your clients, the same contact information applies to you. Al-Anon and Alateen is self supporting through its individual members. We do not have an administrative centre, per se. Our members volunteer to take on positions to liason with professionals and institutions like you, as part of our Public Outreach. Please contact Al-Anon as listed in your phone directory and someone will take your request and get it to the appropriate person. If you are just interested in purchasing our literature, you can do that directly at: www.Al-AnonLiterature.ab.ca. Thank you for your interest in the Al-Anon and Alateen programs.
